The Training Program in Hotel Services, Tourism, and Leisure is launched to meet the real needs of preparing professionals in the field of the tourism industry, hospitality, and guiding. In recent decades, tourism has evolved into a complex service industry. Local destinations must provide only the best to satisfy tourists. In this context, tourism and hospitality managers, as well as tourist guides, play an important role in the tourism industry. These specialists should represent the local community and present the most important and interesting attractions of a given destination.
Taking into account the needs of the tourist market and the received tourist groups, the staff in the tourism and hospitality industry, including tourist guides, should have relevant training. The role of this program is to define the importance of education in the tourism industry, hospitality, and especially in tourist guiding.
The educational program will provide the knowledge and practices necessary to ensure high quality among future employees in the tourism and hospitality sector.
The prospects of this program are also linked to the real need for specialists in a large number of structures distributed on a national scale.
