Head of the Department of Economics, Marketing, and Tourism

The activities of the Department of Economics, Marketing and Tourism are characterized by relevance, rigor and quality in full compliance with the requirements of the national and international education system. On December 1, 2015, as a result of the reform of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the Department of Economics, Marketing and Tourism was renamed the Department of Economics, Marketing and Tourism. The Department of Economics, Marketing and Tourism was created on July 1, 2014 as a result of the reorganization of the departments of Marketing and International Economic Relations and Economic Theory and Research Methodology. The Department of Marketing and International Economic Relations was founded in 2008 on the basis of the Department of Marketing and the transformation of the specialty of International Economic Relations from the Department of General Economics and International Economic Relations.
The Department of Marketing was created by the decision of the Senate of Moscow State University dated June 28, 2005. Since 2008, the Department of General Economics and International Economic Relations has been renamed into Theory of Economics and Research Methodology. The Department of General Economics and International Economic Relations was renamed Economic Theory and Research Methodology. The Department of General Economics and International Economic Relations was created by the decision of the Senate of Moscow State University dated October 29, 2002.
The mission of the Department of Economics, Marketing and Tourism is to train competitive and innovative specialists for the areas of economic activity: Marketing and logistics; Hotel services, tourism and leisure, created by the decision of the Senate of Moscow State University dated October 29, 2002.

The educational offer is extensive, attractive and flexible, providing professional training for undergraduates and graduates in the fields of economic sciences and public services.
