Quality assurance within the Faculty of Economic Sciences includes a set of planned and systematically implemented activities within the Moldova State University quality system to ensure the correctness and effectiveness of planning, organization, coordination, training activities, as well as periodic quality control/monitoring in order to guarantee quality results.
Quality assurance within the Faculty of Economic Sciences is aimed at internal quality assessment and quality improvement at the faculty level according to national quality standards and other provisions of quality legislation.

The activity directions of the Faculty of Economic Sciences quality assurance:
- Organization of the quality assurance system;
- Development of quality assurance indicators and methodology;
- Monitoring the quality assurance process;
- Elaboration of quality evaluation criteria;
- Monitoring the activity of the Quality Assurance Commissions within the departments;
- Elaboration of internal regulations;
- Coordination of the study program development process;
- Coordination of the development and application of the curricular support;
- Creating the conditions and internal monitoring of the external evaluation process.
The evaluation of the education system and process within the Faculty of Economic Sciences aims to ensure the development of the didactic and research processes in accordance with the requirements for ensuring the quality of university studies at national and international level and in accordance with the external evaluation criteria (national and/or European) of study programs. It also establishes the strategy and procedures for quality improvement, publishes an annual evaluation report on the quality of education within the faculty, proposes programs and measures to the management to improve the quality of education and cooperates with all parties interested in this process.
Ensuring the quality of education in higher education domain within the Faculty of Economic Sciences means continuous evaluation, analysis and corrective action on the part of the Moldova State University, based on the selection and adoption of the most suitable procedures, as well as the choice and application of reference standards.
The results of the evaluations are used, first of all, by the management department of the educational institution, for the analysis of the quality of the educational and administrative activities and for the elaboration of decisions regarding the objectives of the institutional development. At the Faculty of Economic Sciences level, the annual internal evaluation report on the quality of education is drawn up, which includes proposals for improving the activity at the faculty level. As a rule, these proposals are taken up in the institutional development plans, through specific improvement actions.
